Wedding: 2:30pm
Cocktail Hour: 3-4pm
Reception: 4-8pm
Nancy has been wonderful to work with so far. I will give the ultimate review after the wedding.
Review (A++): Nancy was absolutely amazing. She was very detailed and she made sure everything ran super smooth. I didn't have to worry about a thing. She made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there. I really had the chance to relax and enjoy it. The food, from what I did eat and from what people told me after, was great! We did stations. The room was set up exactly the way it was supposed to be.
As an example of how they went above and beyond, the Friday before the wedding we had our last going over of the details and we had a signature drink picked out. It wasn't anything super special, just a red fruity drink to match the decor. It required Bacardi Limon and apparently Water's Edge does not carry Bacardi Limon or they had run out for some reason I don't remember. We actually sat with the bartender at 11:30 in the morning and experimented with drinks! The only requirement was that it had to be red. We came up with Disaronno (Amaretto Liquor), Malibu (Coconut Rum), and Cranberry Juice. Disaronno is Steve's favorite and Malibu is one of mine. It came out fabulous and Steve named it "Mahalo." It means "Thank you" in Hawaiian. It was a huge hit at the reception and we still make it to this day!

Brian Halay of Halay McGuiness photography was wonderful for our engagement session (see "Engagement Pictures") and we're really looking forward to have him photograph our wedding!
Review (A-):
The pictures were absolutely AMAZING! He did a wonderful job and he made everyone feel so relaxed. I loved that the package included unlimited time. He was with us from 10am in the morning getting our hair done to after the reception. It actually started to rain at the end of the cocktail hour when we were getting in our bride and groom pictures, so Bryan actually went back out with us at the end of reception to capture some more. Those were the best ones! I've posted some here on the website. The only reason it's an A- and not an A+ is because I still don't have my albums and it's almost Valentine's Day :(

Fleur de Lys Foral
'Beauty Rose Bunch' from their website
This is a florist out of New Haven. I met them at a bridal show. Both Jen and Alex have been great so far. I feel like they understand my vision!

Review (A): The flowers were amazing. They truly captured what I was looking for and believe me, I had adjectives of what I was looking for, but I couldn't tell you exactly. They took my nonsense description of "clean, modern, romantic, a little asian, crisp, no frills" and you can see under "wedding pictures" how they did! My only issue was I asked for no candles on the centerpieces, but they used them anyway and when the reception was over everyone blew them out at the same time and it made the smoke alarm go off! No sprinklers though.

The Pros
We are using The Pros for our DJ Kevin Williams. They've been great to work with so far.
Review (A): He did exactly as I asked. He played a variety of music. He was involved, but not cheesy involved. NO organized dance. Thank God. He even customized our entrance music to fit exactly what I was looking for so it played certain parts in songs and changed when it was supposed to. He even made a CD of all the music we used for the specific dances etc. He was really great.
