How we Met

It was the first day of classes at CCSU for the Spring 07 semester. Amber was waiting in the hallway of Copernicus for the room her accounting class was in to clear out. She saw a cute boy sitting on the ledge in a black peacoat. Amber decided to introduce herself and asked him what his name was. The boy answered "Steve." And the rest is history....

The Proposal
Fast Forward to November 15, 2008...
Amber, Steve, and both their parents have gone out to dinner at J Timothy's in Plainville, CT. Steve is antsy and can't seem to finish his soup. Amber doesn't think anything of it.
After dinner, Steve gets up to go to the bathroom. He's gone for a really long time. Amber's mom asks, "Where's Steve?" Amber replies, "Bathroom I guess," and continues conversation with their parents.
All at once, everyone at the table looks at something behind Amber. Amber turns around only to see Steve in a tux, taking a small red box from the tray the waitress was carrying and bending down on one knee to ask The Question...."Will you marry me?"
Of course, Amber pratically bursts into tears saying "yes, yes!" Amber was completely surprised and taken completely off guard. Everyone at the table and in the entire restaurant knew Steve's plans, except her.
